Purpose

This Reviews & Ratings Policy explains how reviews and ratings are collected, displayed, moderated, and managed on the SeenKind Platform.

Reviews help clients make informed decisions when choosing a therapist and provide therapists with valuable feedback regarding their services.

This Policy should be read together with the:

Eligibility to Leave a Review

Only clients who have completed a booked session through SeenKind may submit a review and rating for that therapist.

SeenKind may verify booking records before publishing a review.

Users may not create additional accounts to submit reviews.

Review Guidelines

Reviews should be:

  • Honest.
  • Respectful.
  • Based on your own experience.
  • Relevant to the services received.
  • Written in clear and appropriate language.

Reviews should help other users understand the service experience without including unnecessary personal or confidential information.

Prohibited Review Content

Reviews must not include:

  • False or misleading information.
  • Defamatory statements.
  • Hate speech.
  • Harassment or abuse.
  • Threats or intimidation.
  • Profanity directed at another person.
  • Confidential therapy details that identify another individual without permission.
  • Personal contact information.
  • Advertising or promotional content.
  • Spam or repetitive content.
  • Illegal content.

SeenKind may edit, hide, or remove reviews that violate this Policy.

Ratings

Clients may rate therapists using the rating system available on the Platform.

Overall ratings may be calculated using completed and eligible reviews.

SeenKind may change the rating methodology from time to time to improve fairness and reliability.

Therapist Responses

Where the Platform supports replies, therapists may respond publicly to reviews.

Responses must remain:

  • Professional.
  • Respectful.
  • Free from confidential client information.
  • Consistent with applicable privacy laws and professional obligations.

Therapists should not disclose information learned during therapy when responding to reviews.

Review Moderation

SeenKind may review submitted reviews before or after publication. We may remove or restrict reviews that:

  • Violate Platform policies.
  • Contain prohibited content.
  • Appear fraudulent.
  • Are submitted by unauthorized users.
  • Pose legal or safety concerns.

SeenKind is not obligated to publish every submitted review.

Fraudulent Reviews

Users must not:

  • Submit fake reviews.
  • Purchase reviews.
  • Sell reviews.
  • Offer incentives in exchange for positive reviews.
  • Coordinate review manipulation.
  • Create multiple accounts to influence ratings.

Attempts to manipulate the review system may result in account suspension or termination.

Reporting a Review

Users who believe a review violates this Policy may report it through SeenKind's support channels. A report should include:

  • The review in question.
  • The reason for the report.
  • Any supporting information.

Submitting a report does not guarantee that a review will be removed.

Investigation

SeenKind may investigate reported reviews by reviewing:

  • Booking records.
  • Platform activity.
  • Communications where permitted by law and our Privacy Policy.
  • Other relevant information.

SeenKind may request additional information from the reporting user or the reviewer.

Removal of Reviews

SeenKind may remove reviews where they:

  • Violate this Policy.
  • Contain unlawful content.
  • Are fraudulent or misleading.
  • Are submitted in bad faith.
  • Reveal confidential information.
  • Present a safety risk.

Removal of a review does not necessarily indicate wrongdoing by either party.

No Guarantee of Ratings

SeenKind does not guarantee that ratings or reviews accurately reflect the quality of any therapist or the experience of every client.

Reviews represent the opinions of individual users.

Clients should consider multiple factors when selecting a therapist.

Platform Rights

SeenKind reserves the right to:

  • Moderate reviews.
  • Remove reviews.
  • Delay publication.
  • Investigate suspicious review activity.
  • Disable review functionality for accounts that abuse the review system.

These actions are intended to protect the integrity of the Platform.

Changes to This Policy

SeenKind may update this Reviews & Ratings Policy from time to time.

The latest version will be published on the Platform with a revised version number and effective date.

Continued use of SeenKind after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
