SeenKind is an online technology marketplace. SeenKind provides technology that allows clients to discover independent therapists, book appointments, communicate securely, attend online sessions, and make payments.

SeenKind does not:

  • Provide therapy.
  • Provide counselling.
  • Provide psychiatric treatment.
  • Provide psychological diagnosis.
  • Provide medical treatment.
  • Prescribe medication.
  • Employ therapists.
  • Supervise therapists' clinical decisions.

All therapy and related professional services are provided solely by independent therapists.

Information available on SeenKind, including articles, blog posts, educational materials, therapist profiles, messages, or other content, is provided for general informational purposes only.

Nothing on the Platform should be interpreted as:

  • Medical advice.
  • Psychiatric advice.
  • Psychological diagnosis.
  • Treatment recommendations.
  • A substitute for professional healthcare.

Users should seek advice from an appropriately qualified healthcare professional regarding their individual circumstances.

Not an Emergency Service

SeenKind is not an emergency service.

The Platform is not designed or monitored for emergency communications or urgent intervention.

Do not rely on SeenKind if you require immediate medical, psychological, psychiatric, or emergency assistance.

  • Attend the nearest emergency department or hospital.
  • Seek immediate assistance from an appropriately qualified healthcare provider.

Do not wait for a response through the SeenKind Platform.

Therapist Responsibility

Therapists are independent professionals. Each therapist is solely responsible for:

  • Clinical assessments.
  • Professional recommendations.
  • Therapeutic decisions.
  • Emergency decision-making.
  • Compliance with applicable laws and professional obligations.

SeenKind does not supervise or direct therapists' professional judgment.

Technology Limitations

Online communication may be affected by:

  • Internet interruptions.
  • Software failures.
  • Device malfunctions.
  • Power outages.
  • Audio or video quality issues.
  • Other technical limitations.

These issues may delay or interrupt communication. SeenKind cannot guarantee uninterrupted access to the Platform.

No Guarantee of Results

Every individual responds differently to therapy. SeenKind does not guarantee:

  • Clinical improvement.
  • Symptom reduction.
  • Successful treatment.
  • Personal outcomes.
  • Therapist compatibility.
  • Availability of specific therapists.
  • Availability of appointments.

Therapy outcomes depend on many factors beyond the control of SeenKind.

Independent Professional Relationship

The therapeutic relationship exists solely between the client and the therapist.

SeenKind's role is limited to providing technology that facilitates communication and appointment management.

Nothing on the Platform creates a healthcare provider–patient relationship between SeenKind and any user.

User Responsibilities

Users are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate information.
  • Choosing an appropriate therapist.
  • Following their therapist's guidance.
  • Seeking emergency care when necessary.
  • Using the Platform responsibly.
  • Complying with applicable laws.

Users should not delay seeking emergency assistance because they are waiting for communication through SeenKind.

Services for Minors

Users are responsible for ensuring that their use of the Platform complies with the laws applicable in their jurisdiction.

Where parental or legal guardian consent is required for a minor to receive services, the therapist and the user are responsible for ensuring that such consent has been obtained before services are provided.

SeenKind does not independently determine whether consent is required under the laws of a particular jurisdiction.

Health Information

Any health-related information shared by users through the Platform is provided voluntarily.

SeenKind processes personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy.

Therapists are responsible for handling confidential client information in accordance with applicable laws and professional obligations.

Limitation of Responsibility

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, SeenKind shall not be responsible for:

  • Clinical decisions made by therapists.
  • Advice provided by therapists.
  • Treatment outcomes.
  • Medical emergencies.
  • Mental health crises.
  • Decisions made by users based on therapy received.
  • Interruptions caused by technology failures beyond SeenKind's reasonable control.

Nothing in this Disclaimer excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law.

Changes to This Disclaimer

SeenKind may update this Disclaimer from time to time.

The latest version will be published on the Platform with a revised version number and effective date.

Continued use of the Platform after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Disclaimer.
